MY REVIEW
Tyler and Owen are the main characters in this book. Tyler works for A-Tac and she is transporting a detonator. The detonator was hi-jacked and the 2 men that were with the detonator were killed and Tyler was knocked out. Tyler and Owen are working together trying to locate the detonator and they knew that there was a mole in the A-Tac team that they had to find out who it was. This is the 3rd book in the A-Tac Series and the 2nd book that I have read by Dee Davis. This book can be read by itself or with the series. I found that this book was pretty good but I did like Dangerous Desires much better. It took me a little while to get into this story but after reading for a couple chapters it caught my attention pretty good. The book is well written and has good details with the characters and I will be reading more of her books.
FIVE FUN FACTS
1. Dee Davis has been an anglophile for as long as she can remember. And has a particular soft spot for an English accent, especially when accompanied by dark hair and piercing blue eyes. Enter Cornish hero Owen Wakefield from MI-5.
2. Although Dee has never even seen a bomb, she’s always been fascinated with man’s propensity to blow himself up and admires those who work to stop it. Enter our heroine, munitions expert, Tyler Hanson.
3. Dee’s grandfather suffered from Alzheimer’s and watching his deterioration was both difficult and painful. That struggle is reflected in Tyler’s efforts to cope with her father’s battle with the debilitating disease.
4. Some of the world’s greatest art can be found in religious buildings around the world. Enter the fictional St. Anne’s Chapel in lower Manhattan and the equally fictional statue Divine Christ inside the church.
5. Computer expert Harrison Blake first sprang out of Dee’s mind in the first Last Chance book, Endgame, and now by popular demand, he’s back and working with A-Tac. For more information about the worlds created by Dee Davis, check out http://www.deedavis.com/
I was given this book free by Forever-Hachette Book Group and Anna through Book Blogs to do this review. This review is of my own opinion.
